El 29 de enero se celebr\u00f3 los 111 a\u00f1os del natalicio de Monse\u00f1or Le\u00f3nidas Proa\u00f1o, inspirador del subsistema de Educaci\u00f3n Fiscomisional, semipresencial del Ecuador; con este motivo se coloc\u00f3 en la sala de sesiones de la Instituci\u00f3n la foto de los directores nacionales del Subsistema desde su fundaci\u00f3n.<\/strong><\/p>

El Subsistema, que lleva el nombre de Monse\u00f1or Le\u00f3nidas Proa\u00f1o, es una instituci\u00f3n educativa, que atiende en todo el territorio nacional. Est\u00e1 dedicado a la teleeducaci\u00f3n integral y de calidad, de j\u00f3venes y adultos ecuatorianos, que, por diversos motivos, no han alcanzado niveles terminales de la educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y bachillerato, dando prioridad a los m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/strong><\/p>

Tiene actualmente 21 unidades educativas fisco misionales en todo el pa\u00eds, con sus respectivos centros de apoyo tutorial, que vincula la educaci\u00f3n con el trabajo. Naci\u00f3 como fruto del convenio entre el Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n, la Conferencia Episcopal Ecuatoriana y la Confedec, el 23 de julio de 1992.<\/strong><\/p>

El 28 de enero del 2015, se renov\u00f3 el convenio, pasando de educaci\u00f3n a distancia a educaci\u00f3n semipresencial y tomo el nombre de SEFSE, en lugar de SINEDE, con el que fue creado.<\/strong><\/p>

Actualmente el subsistema, atiende a nivel nacional a 36,242 estudiantes, incluyendo privados de libertad, cuya responsabilidad se asumi\u00f3, el 1 de abril del 2019, por convenio firmado por el Dr. Milton Luna, Ministro de Educaci\u00f3n y la Conferencia Episcopal Ecuatoriana.<\/strong><\/p>

La oferta educativa contempla Alfabetizaci\u00f3n y Pos alfabetizaci\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n general b\u00e1sica, bachillerato en ciencias y bachillerato t\u00e9cnico en diferentes figuras profesionales.<\/strong><\/p>

La identidad del SEFSE, se fundamente en principios evang\u00e9licos y en la filosof\u00eda de pensamiento y obra de Monse\u00f1or Le\u00f3nidas Proa\u00f1o, por consiguiente, su misi\u00f3n es ofrecer a los j\u00f3venes y adultos del Ecuador una educaci\u00f3n desde un paradigma pedag\u00f3gico-androl\u00f3gico en el contexto de la educaci\u00f3n no formal que propenda a la formaci\u00f3n del ser humano en sus dimensiones, cognitivas, socio-afectiva, espiritual, sicomotora y trascendente.<\/strong><\/p>

Sor Alba Arreaga Rivas, Hija de la Caridad, fue Directora Nacional de\u00a0 este Subsistema desde el 2005 al 2014, actualmente est\u00e1 dirigido por el Magister R\u00f3mulo L\u00f3pez Seminario.<\/strong><\/p>
