Demostr\u00f3 su humildad \u00a0y \u00a0su \u00a0inclinaci\u00f3n \u00a0a \u00a0los \u00a0libros. \u00a0El \u00a0P. \u00a0Pa\u00fal Mariano Garc\u00e9s Mata hermano de la madre de Roque, que conoc\u00eda sus inclinaciones desde ni\u00f1o, le llev\u00f3 al colegio apost\u00f3lico de La Iglesuela y, sin duda, influy\u00f3 en su vocaci\u00f3n sacerdotal y misionera.<\/p>

\u00a0En las vacaciones de verano ayudaba a su \u00fanico hermano en las tareas del campo y juntos, segando y cantando, pasaban los d\u00edas distra\u00eddos en medio del ajetreo de la recolecci\u00f3n. Por eso dec\u00edan los vecinos: Roque es toda bondad. Tuvo buenas cualidades para la m\u00fasica. Su familia era especialmente devota de la Eucarist\u00eda, constantes por tradici\u00f3n en participar en las vigilias. Precisamente la fecha de nacimiento de Roque Guill\u00e9n coincidi\u00f3 con la fundaci\u00f3n en Zaragoza de la Adoraci\u00f3n Nocturna (21-05-1879).<\/p>

Estas dos caracter\u00edsticas marcaron su apostolado que desarroll\u00f3 principalmente en misiones populares y en la atenci\u00f3n espiritual a las Hijas de la Caridad de suerte que, sin ser un orador brillante, era un hombre de mucha oraci\u00f3n y su vida convenc\u00eda. Predic\u00f3 en el mismo Sarri\u00f3n y pueblos vecinos trasmitiendo paz, gusto por la liturgia y amor al trabajo. Sus compa\u00f1eros dicen de \u00e9l que era piadoso, sencillo y humilde; sacrificado y trabajador; observante de la regla y particularmente puntual en acudir a la oraci\u00f3n de la ma\u00f1ana; reconoc\u00eda y aplaud\u00eda sinceramente los \u00e9xitos de los dem\u00e1s; un excelente compa\u00f1ero que se hac\u00eda querer de todos.<\/p>

El P. Roque Guill\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 en La Iglesuela del Cid (Teruel), Teruel capital, \u00c1vila, Orense y Zaragoza. En 1930 recibi\u00f3 su \u00faltimo destino, la casa de Capellanes de Madrid.<\/p>

MARTIRIO:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Consecuente con su conducta de obediencia y alegre sacrificio, en \u00e9poca de persecuci\u00f3n religiosa permaneci\u00f3 en la comunidad al servicio espiritual de las Hijas de la Caridad. All\u00ed fue hecho prisionero el 25 de julio de 1936 con El P. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez y compa\u00f1eros, por su condici\u00f3n de sacerdotes y misioneros, realidad que jam\u00e1s disimularon. Fue martirizado el 23 de octubre de 1936 en Vallecas. Sigui\u00f3 el mismo proceso de prisi\u00f3n, tormentos, coacciones para que denunciaran los refugios de otros compa\u00f1eros y martirio, que el P. Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Fern\u00e1ndez.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
