Servir a los pobres con humildad, sencillez y caridad evangelizando a los ni\u00f1os y a sus familias para vivir de acuerdo a las ense\u00f1anzas de Jesucristo y de nuestros Santos Fundadores.<\/p>

OBJETIVOS ACTUALES:<\/strong><\/p>

Fortalecer los valores de: Justicia, Solidaridad, Sencillez, Humildad y Caridad en la comunidad Vicenciana.<\/p>

Establecer acciones participativas de todos los actores sociales de la Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional \u201cSAN VICENTE DE PA\u00daL\u201d, con el carisma\u00a0 Vicentino, permitiendo cumplir los acuerdos y compromisos de una manera eficiente y consensuada que garantice la convivencia arm\u00f3nica en el marco de los derechos humanos, en el desarrollo de una cultura de paz y buen vivir.<\/p>

HISTORIA:<\/strong><\/p>

La Unidad Educativa \u201cSan Vicente de Pa\u00fal\u201d regentada por las Hijas de la Caridad, presta sus servicios de formaci\u00f3n a la ni\u00f1ez y juventud de la ciudad de Riobamba en la Provincia de Chimborazo desde 1878 en que se cre\u00f3 la escuela anexa al Hospital San Juan de Dios.<\/p>

En 1958 se abre el Normal Cat\u00f3lico que entrega cientos de maestras, que ahora son el orgullo del pa\u00eds. En 1973 se reabre el Instituto Normal Superior que grad\u00faa a 7 promociones de maestras en educaci\u00f3n primaria.<\/p>

Como el ave f\u00e9nix, el San Vicente, ha resurgido de las cenizas para seguir siendo una instituci\u00f3n modelo en trabajo, estudio y servicio a los dem\u00e1s. En la actualidad cuenta con una de las mejores infraestructuras educativas del pa\u00eds, gracias a la ayuda \u00a0del Sr. Presidente de la Rep\u00fablica, de ese entonces, Ec. Rafael Correa Delgado, quien ayud\u00f3 en la reconstrucci\u00f3n total del edificio, que sufri\u00f3 un grave flagelo el 12 de febrero del 2009.<\/p>

La instituci\u00f3n entrega una educaci\u00f3n integral arm\u00f3nica y fortalecida en valores para que lleguen a ser personas comprometidas con Dios al servicio de sus semejantes y sean art\u00edfices de cambios sustanciales en la sociedad con liderazgo cr\u00edtico. El San Vicente de Pa\u00fal siempre sobresale en el campo deportivo, obteniendo numerosos campeonatos intercolegiales,<\/p>

Esta es una instituci\u00f3n cuya labor se basa en el evangelio y el carisma mariano vicenciano.<\/p>

Actualmente las Hijas de la Caridad trabajan en colaboraci\u00f3n de un grupo selecto de docentes innovados; con tecnolog\u00eda de punta, inspirados en el evangelio y en la doctrina Vicenciana para orientar a 1598 estudiantes de los diferentes a\u00f1os de educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y bachillerato.<\/p>

Cuenta con educaci\u00f3n inicial a partir de los 3 a\u00f1os, educaci\u00f3n b\u00e1sica y bachillerato General Unificado.<\/p>

Estamos al servicio de la ni\u00f1ez y juventud de los sectores m\u00e1s necesitados, brindando una educaci\u00f3n de calidad y calidez.<\/p>

NUESTRO COMPROMISO CON EL POBRE:<\/strong><\/p>

Siendo nuestra Misi\u00f3n principal el servicio al pobre, tratamos de hacer efectivo en todos los \u00e1mbitos, procurando compartir nuestro quehacer con los seglares comprometidos con el Evangelio y la Espiritualidad Vicenciana.<\/p>
