Ser itinerantes, con el fin de asegurar una presencia en varios sectores de la parroquia y organizar el trabajo pastoral.<\/p>

    HISTORIA:<\/strong><\/p>

    La presencia de las Hijas de la Caridad en la Misi\u00f3n Ind\u00edgena de la\u00a0\u00a0 Parroquia Flores es desde el a\u00f1o de 1984, por pedido de la Hna. Visitadora de la \u00e9poca Sor Alba\u00a0Arreaga<\/strong>. Iniciaron la misi\u00f3n Sor Teresita Duvignau, Sor Mar\u00eda Ar\u00e9valo: en condiciones muy precarias viviendo en casas de familias ind\u00edgenas, quedando en relaci\u00f3n con la comunidad del colegio San Vicente de Pa\u00fal.<\/p>

    Luego de algunos a\u00f1os el Padre Jos\u00e9 Ramponi misionero italiano de la Consolata construy\u00f3 un centro misional que funciona a partir de 1989\u00a0 desde este momento la misi\u00f3n se vivir\u00e1 en dos momentos la visita constante de los misioneros hacia las alturas (4000 metros), y la concentraci\u00f3n de los ind\u00edgenas para su formaci\u00f3n en el centro misional.<\/p>

    En el Sistema Integrado de Indicadores Sociales del Ecuador, SIISE, la pobreza por necesidades b\u00e1sicas insatisfechas, alcanza el 99,51% de la poblaci\u00f3n total de la parroquia, y el 83,62% de pobreza extrema debido a la erosi\u00f3n constante de las tierras.<\/p>

    La misi\u00f3n espec\u00edfica fue trabajar con el mundo ind\u00edgena en: la evangelizaci\u00f3n con un contacto directo con las comunidades. Para la juventud ind\u00edgena se creo un centro de capacitaci\u00f3n abierto a todos: cultura general, manualidades y formaci\u00f3n religiosa.<\/p>

    Hoy existe un grupo de j\u00f3venes Voluntarios ind\u00edgenas del propio lugar comprometidos con la misi\u00f3n al mismo nivel que las Hnas., reconocidos actualmente por la Compa\u00f1\u00eda de las Hijas de la Caridad\u00a0 como Misioneros Ind\u00edgenas Vicentinos.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

    NUESTRO COMPROMISO CON EL POBRE<\/strong><\/p>

    Nuestro compromiso como Hijas de la Caridad Misioneras en medio del pueblo ind\u00edgena del Chimborazo es mantenernos fieles al legado del Evangelio y el de Monse\u00f1or Le\u00f3nidas Proa\u00f1o, el Obispo de los Indios, que sigue resonando su mensaje y su acci\u00f3n pastoral en medio de los m\u00e1s desfavorecidos de la sociedad.<\/p>

    \u201cHay que caminar con los dos pies uno en las comunidades ind\u00edgenas y sus organizaciones y el otro en el Evangelio Liberador de Jesucristo\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Monse\u00f1or Proa\u00f1o)<\/p>

    • \u00a0Seguidoras de Jesucristo apegadas incondicionalmente al Evangelio para llevar al coraz\u00f3n del ind\u00edgena y hacerlo conocer, amar y seguir al Maestro de los Maestros Cristo.<\/li>
    • Desplegar un trabajo de evangelizaci\u00f3n a todo nivel y de atenci\u00f3n de salud a ancianos abandonados en las monta\u00f1as.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>
